Our coaches are experienced professionals dedicated to the development of each player. With a focus on technical excellence, tactical understanding and holistic growth, our coaching staff provides expert instruction to help athletes reach their full potential on and off the field.
The Riverhounds Academy utilizes state-of-the-art turf training facilities, including fields, performance areas and classroom spaces designed to support player development at all levels. RDA players are also provided with special opportunities to play at F.N.B. Stadium in Station Square, the club's 5,000 seat professional venue boasting incredible views of downtown Pittsburgh.
The RDA takes pride in helping players reach the collegiate level. Since our first graduating class in 2016, over 325 RDA alumni have earned roster spots on college soccer teams across the country.
For many youth soccer players, the ultimate dream is to play at the professional level. RDA graduates have earned contracts in the USL, MLS, NWSL and European leagues.
The RDA is proud to support players competing at the highest levels. Since the program’s inception, 10 players have been called into U.S. Youth National Team camps, reflecting the club’s commitment to elite player development.
The Riverhounds provide a clear player pathway from Grassroots to RDA teams to the club's USL Championship and USL W-League teams. Our structured development model helps prepare young athletes for college, professional and U.S. Youth National Team opportunities.
Sitting at the top of the RDA’s development model is the Pittsburgh Riverhounds USL Championship professional team, the 2025 USL Championship title winners.
Competing in the USL W-League, the Pittsburgh Riveters let RDA girls aspire to first team soccer at F.N.B. Stadium in front of sell-out crowds.
